Recensioni
Io e mia figlia siamo entusiaste dell’insegnante! Grazie infinite a lei!

ESF LANGUAGE SERVICE is Examinator CELI
(International Certification of the Italian Language)
CELI - General Italian Certification
The Certificates of knowledge of the Italian language (CELI) are certificates of general Italian that are intended for schooled adults.
They certify skills and ability to use the language and are spendable in the field of work and study.
The CELI are distinguished in turn according to specific types of users in CELI immigrants and CELI adolescents.
CELI immigrants
Over the years, other certificates have been added to the "traditional" CELI certificates for general Italian.
The CELI exams and related language certificates are aimed at a well-defined audience, i.e. foreign citizens linked to a permanent migratory project and poorly educated people (CELI Impatto). The objectives of the CELI exams respond to the need to ensure accessibility and social expendability to the evaluation process.
The CELI exams verify not only an achieved linguistic competence, but also the related training path aimed at accompanying the migrant and facilitating the process of inclusion. The case of CELI for general Italian is different, aimed at an undifferentiated public, whose expendability extends to higher levels of competence (B2, C1 and C2), and also to the academic field.
In conclusion, the traditional CELI and CELI, on the basis of what has been briefly described above, belong to two distinct typologies, not so much from the point of view of the recognition of the linguistic title, but on the level of functions and expendability.
CELI for teenagers
The CELI adolescents (CELI a) are certificates of knowledge of the Italian language aimed at adolescents aged between 13 and 17 years. They verify the ability to use the Italian language in communicative situations of the child both in the workplace and in study.
Addressing an audience of adolescents, the textual genres used for the different tasks and their contents are related to the age of the users, their interests, their knowledge of the world and their ability to address and deal with certain topics rather than others.
The CELI exams for adolescents are always based on the approach and learning objectives set out by the levels of the Council of Europe's Common European Framework of Reference.
The CELI a exams take place once a year.
They are divided into three levels: CELI 1 a - A2; CELI 2 a - B1; CELI 3 a - B2

The Ministry of Education, University and Research recognizes CELI 3 as a valid certificate to attest the knowledge of the Italian language necessary to enroll at the University in Italy in the contingent that each university allocates to foreign students.
CELI 4 and CELI 5 are also recognized as valid certificates to attest the knowledge of the Italian language on equal terms with Italian students. Each Faculty can obviously request specific entrance tests.
The Ministry of Labour and Social Policies recognizes CELI Certificates in immigration contexts and promotes their dissemination through the promotion of interventions aimed at learning the Italian language by non-EU adults and children regularly present in Italy.
